Educating Innovators of the Future
What do parents, teachers, and kids have to say about Gizmo Cats?
"My son Jack loves playing computer games and especially Minecraft. Jack was introduced to Python programming shaping the virtual world in Minecraft Pi. I’d recommend learning electronics and computing on the Raspberry Pi to anyone wishing to stay ahead and understand more about the technology behind our tablets and mobile phones."
Head of ICT, Seton Catholic College
"My Year 10 class worked on a problem solving task with the Rasberry Pi single board computer. They connected the Rasberry Pi to a breadboard with LED's and a button and had to trouble shoot the circuit to not only light the LED's after an input but then animate a Scratch program character. The groups were engaged throughout and there was a real buzz in the room as they worked through the challenge. The student feedback at the end of the session was really positive: 'It was fun and different to anything I've done before', 'I'm excited about the next Gizmo Cat session'."

Rowen and Suravi Anand
STEM Teacher & Rowan's Mum
"My daughter Rowan needed help understanding STEM learning with a Raspberry Pi. Oscar worked with her one-to-one assembling electronics. I am confident that the hands-on training in physical computing she received has improved her science, technology, engineering and mathematics learning."
"It was fantastic, the kids really enjoyed it! They learnt a lot and for a short 1 hour course. It opened their minds and developed curiosity about the physical function of technology. Oscar is a great teacher and they would love to continue learning with him!"
Grandson & Nanna
"My grandchildren enjoyed the activity I liked interacting along as well. It was a good creative introduction to basic programming. It gave them insight to how internet games coding etc. originates and we liked that it encourages them to experiment creating their own games."
Zion and Felicity
